The Desktop Daily Timer is a timer device that is capable of transmitting and receiving UPB digital commands over the existing powerlines. Designed in a plug-in desktop enclosure, it transmits Gen II UPB commands at specified times of the day or upon a push button press. The DDT can be used as a programmer to setup a network, without UPStart, to control up to 16 individual receivers via manual push-buttons or automatically with the built-in timers: standard or astronomical.
The Desktop Daily Timer includes 8 built-in events which may be programmed to be exact or sunrise/sunset (with offsets of plus or minus 128 minutes). Each event can be activated daily or on specific days of the week. Any one or all devices may be part of the event. The DDT timed events are protected by a non-volatile battery-backed memory.
